Remote Backend Engineer Intern

Position Overview

We are looking for an intern to work remotely on the core web applications, frameworks, and shared libraries that power the Autodesk Construction Solutions backend. Our team builds the frameworks and tools that enable other backend developers, and the core services that power our connected platform. During your time, you will be paired with another team member who will guide you in learning our technical infrastructure and assisting you on your projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain core backend services and APIs that other teams depend on

• Develop the shared libraries and frameworks that power our backend services

• Create tooling and processes to enhance the observability, scalability, and performance of our backend services

• Handle the problems of large distributed systems

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS SQS, Postgres, and Redis

• Docker, Kubernetes, Spinnaker, and Istio

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience, educational level, and geographic location, and can exceed this range.

For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting annualized intern base salary to be between:

• $47,840 and $95,680 (undergraduate students)
• $72,800 and $118,500 (Masters/MBA students)
• $118,560 and $162,240 (PhD students)
