About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead / Test Manager – HRIS to join our dynamic consulting team, supporting a leading client in the HR/Workforce Management sector. This role is ideal for a testing professional with strong leadership, functional testing, and integration experience who thrives in complex enterprise environments.

As part of our consultancy, you’ll be delivering high-quality testing services across critical HRIS programs. You’ll be instrumental in defining strategy, leading test execution, and ensuring quality outcomes across systems such as Dayforce, Workday, or other Workforce Management/HRIS platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Own and manage end-to-end testing efforts across HRIS projects, including functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Lead and execute testing strategy, planning, design, execution, and defect management.
• Apply and uphold test governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and audit/compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and vendors to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Coordinate testing activities across multiple workstreams with minimal supervision.
• Provide reporting and insights on test progress, quality metrics, and risks.
• Mentor and guide junior testers when required.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Test Lead or Test Manager in complex enterprise environments.
• Hands-on testing experience in functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with Dayforce, Workday, or other Workforce Management/HRIS platforms is highly desirable.
• Strong test governance knowledge – with hands-on experience defining and enforcing test processes, documentation standards, and quality gates.
• Experience working independently across multiple concurrent projects in matrixed environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Sound understanding of the full SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g. HP ALM, JIRA, Zephyr, or similar).
• Ability to work both strategically and tactically – managing testing from both leadership and execution standpoints.
