Requirements
  • An undergraduate degree.
  • Up to three years of professional work experience in an audit function or the utilities industry.
  • Knowledge of electric utility-sector regulatory and accounting standards.
  • Ability to prepare financial models, rate analyses, and credit-risk assessments supporting equity sponsors and lenders.
  • Expertise in auditing and reviewing third-party and equity-sponsor financial models and cost-assumption factors.
  • Experience planning, developing, and auditing financial models for independent, regulated, and public-private-partnership financing for transmission and renewable-generation power projects.
  • Understanding and proficiency with business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word, and proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data-analytic tools, and Visio.
Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the project team, including performing research, credit analysis, and data gathering.
  • Prepare financial models, rate analyses, and credit-risk assessments supporting equity sponsors and lenders.
  • Audit and review third-party and equity-sponsor financial models and cost-assumption factors.
  • Plan, develop, and audit financial models for independent, regulated, and public-private-partnership financing for transmission and renewable-generation power projects.
