Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed inspection and quality control checks on aerospace parts and materials.
  • Assist with concession & First Article Inspection measurements data (AS9102)
  • Accurately record inspection findings and maintain comprehensive documentation of inspection results, defects and non conformities.
  • Work with functions across the business to identify and resolve quality issues and recommend corrective actions and prevent measures to improve product quality and prevent defects.
  • Investigate and identify root cause of quality issues, defects and non conformances. Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement corrective and preventative action.
  • Communicate inspection results, findings and quality related issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • Authority to sign/stamp all release certifications to customer
  • Material booking in/release
  • Ability to use all inspection, general measuring equipment, verniers, micrometers etc. CMM is approved
  • Good computer skills to maintain records and documents
  • Comply fully with internal and external Quality Audits
  • Work within all company guidelines and procedures
Desired Qualifications
  • Formal Academic qualification in engineering – Desirable
  • Aerospace experience - Desirable
  • Working knowledge of ISO and Customer Quality Management Systems - Desirable
  • Experience of composite manufacture – Desirable
