  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 6+ years minimum related experience
  • 2+ years of core trade and other trade finance experience required
  • Detailed knowledge of Credit and Underwriting standards including techniques to mitigate risk.
  • Proven ability in identifying and meeting customer needs through matching a broad range of products and services.
  • Great interpersonal skills and ability to interact and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and the ability to deliver compelling presentations.
Responsibilities
  • Leading origination efforts of Trade and Working Capital Sales for a dedicated portfolio of clients and prospects by establishing new relationships and strengthening existing ones
  • Execute a robust growth plan to target new customers (New to Bank and New to Trade)
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including relationship managers and product specialists, to maximize cross-selling opportunities for the bank
  • Assist in the communication of new products, propositions and relevant market information to customers
  • Work with client services and operations teams to develop and drive changes and improvements to Core Trade operating models, procedures and practices
  • Ability to interact with business customers at all levels
  • Provides support for senior trade specialists
  • Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
