We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Control Manager to join our Wealth Management team. This role is located in Pittsburgh.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Through subordinate managers, identify, analyze, monitor, and minimize business risks, ensuring proper control policies and procedures are in place.
• Manage multiple teams responsible for control testing and reporting on control standards.
• Develop training on policies and procedures concerning controls and risk management.
• Monitor results on key risks, errors/near misses, reconciliations, and root cause analyses as reported by subordinate managers, analyzing and determining appropriate management intervention.
• Lead and contribute to policies for developing, documenting, and analyzing existing control procedures, ensuring evidence of successful and efficient performance.
• Align team objectives to functional objectives and manage complex projects focused on improving controls to mitigate deficiencies, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Contribute to strategic projects and initiatives for the function, using in-depth knowledge of market trends to determine potential risks and recommend changes to mitigate risk.
• Recruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff, maximizing individual contributions, professional growth, and effective teamwork.
• Manage a large or specialized team of Control professionals or multiple teams, primarily through subordinate managers, including possible matrixed management responsibility and oversight of geographically dispersed teams.
• Responsible for achieving goals and objectives across multiple teams, talent management, and supervision of Control professionals and other managers.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required; advanced degree preferred.
• 7-10 years of total work experience with 1-3 years of management experience preferred.
• Experience in the securities or financial services industry preferred.
