Your Mission / What you will be accountable for
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Group Sales Manager to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will maximize the hotel’s revenue and profitability by sourcing, booking, and managing group and catering business. You will play a pivotal part in cultivating strong client relationships, tailoring solutions to their needs, and ensuring the successful planning and execution of group events.
Through your passion, motivation, and professionalism, you will sell memorable experiences to guests who stay and meet in our property. You are organized, knowledgeable about the hotel and its surroundings, and skilled at creating meaningful connections that drive loyalty and repeat business.
You will be fully accountable for achieving annual group revenue targets and ensuring client satisfaction.
Role Description / What you will do
Client Relationship Management
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively prospecting new accounts.
- Conduct client meetings, site inspections, and presentations to understand group event requirements and offer tailored solutions.
- Maintain and expand existing accounts through effective servicing, up-selling, and timely communication.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, sales missions, and networking events to increase visibility and generate leads.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and local opportunities.
Planning & Coordination
- Oversee the group event planning process from proposal through execution, ensuring seamless communication with clients and internal teams.
- Partner with Revenue Management, Events, Operations, and Marketing to deliver flawless and memorable group experiences.
- Ensure events are delivered within budget and aligned with revenue goals.
- Provide post-event follow-up to strengthen relationships and encourage repeat business.
Sales Strategy & Performance
- Develop and implement tactical sales strategies to drive group bookings and revenue growth.
- Proactively solicit business through phone calls, client visits, blitzes, and targeted outreach.
- Monitor performance metrics including conversion rate, lead response time, and group revenue contribution.
- Collaborate with Revenue Management to optimize pricing, availability, and business mix.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and adjust strategies as needed.

Qualifications
Your Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in group sales or a similar role, preferably in hospitality or events.
- Track record of achieving or exceeding revenue and sales targets.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication abilities.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build lasting relationships.
- Data-driven with strong business acumen and ability to identify growth opportunities.
- Ability to work well under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, or Business preferred.
- Very good verbal and written communication skills in English.
