Requirements
  • A California clinical license in nursing, physical therapy, speech therapy, or occupational therapy is highly preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Business, Nursing, or a related field is a plus.
  • At least 2 years of experience in home health or healthcare operations is highly preferred.
  • Multi-site or regional support experience is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills are required.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor clinical quality through chart audits, field observations, and outcome data, and translate findings into practice changes.
  • Track patient outcomes, hospitalization and readmission rates, infection rates, patient satisfaction, star ratings, and clinical documentation accuracy, and turn trends into action.
  • Participate in performance improvement projects from problem identification through root cause analysis, intervention design, and results measurement.
  • Standardize best practices across branches with clear, repeatable processes.
  • Coach and develop clinical teams through real-time feedback, competency assessments, and targeted education.
  • Investigate incidents, complaints, and adverse events, identify systemic causes, and implement safeguards to prevent recurrence.
  • Partner with regional and operational leadership to align quality goals with staffing, scheduling, and growth plans.
  • Prepare the region for surveys and accreditation reviews and maintain continuous audit readiness.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, audit tools, reporting cadences, and the QAPI committee structure.
  • Lead the regional quality function, set priorities, allocate time based on risk and need, and maintain consistent standards across sites.
  • Partner with regional and site leadership to understand local constraints and build practical improvement plans.
  • Develop clinical leaders and supervisors through mentoring in coaching, documentation review, and case escalation.
  • Onboard and orient new clinical staff to regional standards and identify onboarding gaps.
  • Manage the region's education and training calendar based on audit findings, incident trends, and clinician feedback.
  • Contribute to hiring and performance decisions for clinical roles, including competency evaluation, corrective action, and retention conversations.
  • Support operational readiness during growth, transitions, acquisitions, new market and location openings, service line expansion, and system or process rollouts.
  • Report regional performance to senior leadership, including progress, gaps, and resource needs.
  • Own the patient and family experience as a quality measure, resolve concerns, and use complaint patterns to guide improvements.
  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for customers with clinical questions or concerns.
  • Communicate quality outcomes to external partners using performance data, star ratings, and patient satisfaction results.
  • Represent the region at partner meetings, clinical in-services, and industry events.
  • Coach staff on service recovery and patient communication.
  • Partner with sales and business development to align growth commitments with clinical capacity.
  • Translate patient, family, and partner insight into process changes.
  • Champion accountability and psychological safety so staff report concerns early and near-misses become learning opportunities.
