As a Principal Contracts Administrator at STR, you’ll be at the forefront of Research & Development, System/Product Development, and Mission Solutions. You’ll collaborate with diverse teams to craft winning proposals, negotiate agreements that benefit all parties, and mitigate business risks. Your expertise in federal procurement and regulatory compliance will be instrumental in forging strategic relationships and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full lifecycle of government contracts, from proposal to closeout, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment.
• Collaborate closely with program management, finance, and legal teams to develop comprehensive business proposals and solutions.
• Advise senior management on contract terms, risks, and opportunities for strategic growth.
• Maintain meticulous records and correspondence, responding promptly to data calls and contractual obligations.
• Negotiate and execute various agreements, including NDAs, teaming agreements, and licensing agreements.
• Provide strategic counsel to program managers and stakeholders, fostering productive relationships across departments.
• Uphold the highest ethical standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (relevant experience considered).
• Active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance; TS/SCI eligibility highly desirable.
• Minimum 8 years of federal government contracting experience, with expertise in DoD and IC contracts.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and general contract law principles.
• Familiarity with export control laws, acquisition policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with various contract types (CPFF, FFP, T&M, etc.) and commercial terms.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
