  • A.S./B.S. degree in Electrical, Robotics Engineering, or related.
  • 5+ Years of experience in related fields.
  • 5+ Years of experience with schematic capture using Solidworks.
  • Experience as a design lead in developing detailed electrical documentation for complex control systems.
  • Intimately familiar with NFPA79, UL508A, CE, and similar electrical standards.
Responsibilities
  • Design 3D electrical models (panels, enclosures, feed-throughs, cable/wire routing) according to best practices (AC/DC isolation, bend radius, component space requirements).
  • Create and maintain BOM (Bill of Materials) from schematics / panel layouts.
  • Work with external vendors and internal resources during the build process to capture redlines.
  • Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of cable assemblies using SolidWorks.
  • Create and maintain design documentation, including specifications and assembly instructions.
  • Work closely with electrical engineers, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance with industry standards.
  • Assist in the development of testing protocols for cable assemblies to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate materials and components for cable assemblies based on electrical, mechanical, and environmental requirements.
  • Ensure designs adhere to Seurat cable design standards, relevant industry standards and regulations.
