As an Associate Science Curriculum Designer at IXL, you’ll help design engaging questions and collaborate with curriculum designers and visual designers to achieve our educational goals. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Write clear, engaging K-12 science questions and explanations for IXL.com #LI-HYBRID
• Design engaging K-8 science worksheets for Education.com
• Ensure questions and explanations are scientifically correct
• Collaborate with illustrators, graphic designers, and other curriculum designers to deliver high-quality science content
• Research and review IXL’s alignment to educational standards, common assessments, and popular textbooks
• Oversee the localization of IXL’s U.S. science content for other countries
• Write alt text for visually-impaired learners

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s in a scientific field required
• K-12 science teaching or tutoring experience
• Ability to work across multiple scientific disciplines such as life science, earth science, physical science, and engineering
• Excellent writing ability
• Strong analytical-reasoning and problem-solving skills
• Can-do attitude with an openness to others’ ideas
• Highly self-motivated and efficient with superb attention to detail
