Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
  • An active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information based on a Single Scope Background Investigation with Polygraph.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements before offer and after hire.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable cloud services supporting Azure AI Platform workloads across air-gapped and sovereign cloud environments.
  • Apply automation, observability, testing, resiliency, and secure-by-default design throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Develop and improve automated systems for deployment, validation, telemetry, and operations to reduce manual overhead and increase engineering velocity.
  • Use AI-assisted development and operational tools, including GitHub Copilot and safe large language model workflows, to accelerate coding, debugging, documentation, and rapid prototyping.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, investigate service issues, perform root-cause analysis, and contribute durable fixes to improve long-term system health.
  • Incorporate customer and partner feedback into engineering decisions.
  • Collaborate across engineering teams using clear communication and canonical documentation to maintain alignment and support continuous improvement.
  • Embody Microsoft’s culture and values.

Microsoft launches agentic commerce playbook as AI agents set to capture 15-25% of US e-commerce by 2030

ChronoScale secures two-year Microsoft deal for 50 MW AI compute deployment

ChronoScale has entered a two-year strategic partnership with Microsoft to deploy approximately 50 MW of AI compute capacity, the company disclosed in its annual report filed Wednesday. The project will use NVIDIA GB300 systems with advanced liquid cooling for high-density AI workloads, with completion targeted for the first quarter of 2027. The deployment remains subject to financing and meeting various development milestones. ChronoScale reported $9.7 million in cash and a $42.6 million working-capital deficit as of 31 May. The company has access to a $100 million promissory note from parent firm Applied Digital, with $93 million undrawn. ChronoScale reported fiscal 2026 revenue of $71.6 million, down 15% year-on-year, primarily due to a customer loss in December 2024. Operating loss narrowed to $37.5 million from $55.3 million.
