Requirements
  • DoD Secret or higher clearance
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Computer Science (Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education)
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Systems Engineering
  • Experience with multiple stages of the program lifecycle (design, integration, test, operations, maintenance)
  • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), especially using CAMEO
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
  • Experience with technical risk identification and management strategies, as well as Test, Verification and Validation principles
  • Ability to communicate technical information via oral presentation and written format
Responsibilities
  • Update and deliver the meshONE-T system Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM) that tracks to the meshONE-T SRD utilizing MBSE
  • Establish and perform relevant systems engineering activities using MBSE that adhere to the Government-approved modeling language (e.g., Systems Modeling Language (SysML)) specifications
  • Ensure MBSE content is consistent with deliveries and is an integral part of the technical baseline throughout the system development life cycle
  • Deliver the MBSE model in Government-approved format (e.g., SysML), plus export of select model information/data in other electronic formats (e.g., Excel, PDF, Visio), as directed by the Government
  • Contribute to all phases of a system lifecycle including: CONOPS, requirements, architecture, design, development, integration, test, operations, and maintenance
  • Maintain and develop system artifacts, including requirements, architecture designs, ICDs, use cases, system flow diagrams, and test plans
  • Work across cross-functional development teams, government teams, and/or vendors to drive problem resolution and collaboration
  • Interface with the customer, leveraging strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail

Sabel Systems acquires Centil to strengthen space-domain engineering capabilities

Sabel Systems Technology Solutions has acquired Centil, expanding its capabilities in DevSecOps, CI/CD product development and space-domain systems engineering. The deal represents Sabel Systems' second acquisition since Sagewind Capital took a majority stake in October 2024. The acquisition strengthens Sabel Systems' digital engineering ecosystem and enhances its ability to serve defence and commercial space missions. Centil brings expertise in space-domain engineering and DevSecOps to the combined entity. "This acquisition brings together two teams that excel at solving complex engineering challenges and turning them into mission-ready solutions," said Shawn Purvis, CEO of Sabel Systems. KippsDeSanto & Co. served as financial adviser to Centil, with Sparks Wilson providing legal counsel.
