Requirements
  • General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or High School (HS)
  • 2+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
  • Baseline level of technology skills related to web production, such as HTML
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of products
  • Experience working with learning management systems, particularly Canvas
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and details effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation and creativity
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A commitment to providing excellent customer service
Responsibilities
  • Set up and manage recurring tasks in the learning management system (Canvas) each semester for HHD online courses
  • Assist in creating and revising online course content, ensuring it meets the latest accessibility and quality standards
  • Review and update course materials to align with accessibility requirements and educational quality benchmarks
  • Investigate and resolve course and technology-related requests, addressing both instructor and student concerns efficiently
  • Work closely with the Learning Design team to explore new functionalities within Canvas and leverage emerging educational technologies
  • Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to implement and manage current and future educational technologies, including third-party tools
