  • 3+ years of payroll experience
  • Top-notch Excel skills and data analysis
  • ADP Workforce Now & ADP Reporting Tools experience required
  • Knowledge of payroll regulations such as federal and state wage and hour laws, and tax laws
  • Must be detail oriented and possess excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work with minimal managerial supervision
  • Impeccable attendance
Responsibilities
  • Manages payroll process during the Payroll Manager's absence
  • Audit pre and post payroll process
  • Submit 401k and HSA contributions to third party providers after the payroll is finalized
  • Timely and accurately prepare on-demand checks for terminations, retro-adjustments, and other disbursements determined to be necessary for immediate distribution
  • Prepares and manages Positive Pay file for manual payments issued
  • Audits employee timesheets for compliance with established standards for hours worked and accuracy
  • Work with Supervisors to ensure their people's timecards submitted and approved accurately for payroll processing
  • Respond to HR staff and employees regarding payroll matters
  • Maintained strict confidentiality of all payroll information and records
