As a Lead Cloud Engineer at Rearc, you'll be responsible for fostering trust and accountability within your team. Your highly technical mindset will enable you to optimize processes for efficiency, scalability, and sustainability across various domains such as computing, storage, networking, security services, and cloud-native best practices. Building and maintaining successful relationships with both engineering teams and customers will be crucial in this role. What You Bring

• With 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, DevOps, or related fields, you offer a wealth of expertise in this domain.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, complementing your practical experience.
• You have hands-on experience leading projects to build infrastructure on cloud platforms.
• Your extensive experience with infrastructure automation tools and best practices enables you to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
• You possess in-depth knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools.
• Your strong understanding of networking and security concepts and best practices ensures the integrity and resilience of cloud environments.
• You bring strong strategic and analytical skills to the table, enabling you to tackle complex challenges and drive informed decision-making.
• Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills facilitate effective collaboration and relationship-building with stakeholders at all levels.

What You'll Do

As a Lead Cloud Engineer at Rearc, your role is pivotal in driving the success of our engineering endeavors. You will lead by example, fostering trust and accountability within your team while leveraging your technical expertise to optimize processes and deliver exceptional solutions. Here's what you'll be doing

• Understand Requirements and Challenges: Collaborate with clients to deeply understand their requirements and challenges, enabling the development of high-quality enterprise solutions tailored to the needs of Fortune 100 customers.
• Implement with a GitOps Mindset: Embrace a GitOps mindset and utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling, along with languages like Python, Go, Java, or other codified technologies, to build robust and scalable solutions.
• Lead Project Teams: Take the helm in leading project teams, providing both technical guidance and delivery oversight to ensure the successful completion of initiatives.
• Mentor Junior Engineers: Share your wealth of knowledge and experience with junior engineers, guiding and mentoring them as they grow in their roles and careers.
• Promote Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to our vibrant community by writing blogs and knowledge-sharing articles, promoting your personal brand and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
