Requirements
  • An undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems & Decision Sciences (ISDS), or Management Information Systems (MIS) from a top academic institution and a strong GPA required.
  • Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience is preferred in a professional services or consulting firm environment. Prior experience working with distressed organizations is viewed favorably.
  • Strong financial analysis and modeling skills with a solid understanding of financial statements and/or financial data management.
  • Working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Access is required.
  • For information systems majors, experience with SQL is preferred.
  • Works well in a very fast-paced environment. Can manage time effectively, including the ability to identify project priorities across multiple workstreams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, and in particular as unique projects/needs arise.
  • Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday

Responsibilities
  • Joining a highly recognized Turnaround and Restructuring team with state-of-the-art technology expertise, strong financial, accounting, and operational backgrounds with significant restructuring experience.
  • Providing complete bankruptcy case management services, including various tasks such as first day motions, accounts payable cutoff procedures, contract identification and assessment, claims reconciliation and resolution, financial analysis, and stakeholder communication.
  • Supporting client engagement teams, working in a fast-paced environment, and being willing to work outside of normal business hours as needed.
