Requirements
  • Any experience in the Army.
  • Availability and ability to live on exercise terrain for 2 to 12 days, including abroad.
  • Ability to speak English, French, or Dutch.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility verification is required at hire.
Responsibilities
  • Accompany a unit or sub-unit on the training field.
  • Use the exercise-control radio to support scenario management by reporting to and receiving taskings from exercise control.
  • Use the umpire gun to generate effects, including revive, wound, heal, kill, enhance or degrade protection, and add or reduce ammunition.
  • Observe and register key points.
  • Intervene in the exercise when necessary for exercise-control or security reasons.
  • Support the Duel Sim Operator in preparing and executing the debriefing.
Desired Qualifications
  • Army experience as an instructor or commander.
  • Operator experience with SAAB or Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System.
  • Ability to speak English, French, and Dutch.
