Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or industrial engineer
  • 5+ years of experience in a industrial/manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, robotics, and mechanical background
  • Ability to plan, supervise and direct all activities associated with the facility and implementation of new equipment and processes, experience with project development and management through successful completion.
  • Have a working knowledge of OSHA, ANSI and NEC standards and the ability to develop and implement ISO standards.
Responsibilities
  • Complete engineering tasks, including- Programming PLC’s and data collection; Installation, wiring, programming, and modification of new or existing equipment.
  • Coordination of schedules, follow up of assignments, maintaining quality and production standards.
  • Collaborate with Facilities Engineers during the development of new equipment.
  • Plan and recommend future equipment and facility upgrades.
  • Assist in the selection of new technology from the marketplace.
  • Identify areas of concern or opportunities for improvement and implement changes.
  • Maintain quality and production standards following all ISO and company procedures.
  • Review and enhance procedures for qualification and manufacturing process. Working with yield improvements, through put, safety, quality, speed & cost.
  • Supporting documentation and standard operating procedures for the shop floor.
  • Assist in creating training material, rolling out training classes, testing, and approval of production staff.
