Citi cuts Cintas price target to $160, cites cyclical risk and valuation concerns

Citi analyst Leo Carrington has lowered Cintas Corporation's price target to $160 from $181, maintaining a Sell rating on the uniform and facility services provider. The analyst cited exposure to economic cycles and a weakening US employment backdrop as key risks, noting that valuation constraints outweigh potential upside from the pending UniFirst acquisition. On 26 March, UBS also reduced its price target to $228 from $235 whilst keeping a Buy rating. The firm highlighted Cintas's 8.2% organic growth despite limited payroll expansion and raised full-year guidance with improved EBIT margins. Cintas operates through two segments: Uniform Rental and Facility Services, and First Aid and Safety Services, primarily serving businesses across the United States, Canada and Latin America.
