- At least 6 years of experience in mobility technology, including at least 2 years working with UMTS, LTE, and IMS technologies.
- Knowledge of 3GPP specifications and Releases 8, 9, and 10.
- Expertise with EPC architecture interfaces, including S1AP, S11, S3/S4, S1-MME, S1-U, S6a, S5/8, Gn/Gp, Gb, Gr, Gx, Sy, and Rx.
- Complete understanding of mobility and transport nodes, including MSC, BSC, RNC, BTS, NodeB, eNodeB, HLR/HSS, STP, MME, S/P-GW, PCRF, and IMS nodes.
- Working experience configuring, testing, and troubleshooting 3G and 4G mobility networks.
- Understanding of mobility-related call flows and interfaces, including S11, S1-U, S5, Gn, Gx, and Ga.
- Knowledge of complementary packet-core applications and protocols, including GTP-C, GTP-U, RADIUS, LDAP, Diameter, and DNS.
- Experience in the telecom service-provider, mobile, and wireless industry.
- Analyze issues in a mobility lab comprising 2G, 3G, 4G, and IMS networks.
- Identify problems and implement solutions.
- Respond to general support inquiries by phone, email, and trouble ticket.
- Assign issues to the appropriate party for resolution.
