Merger & Acquisition Manager-Carmel, IN-US Remote

Allegion is seeking an energetic Merger & Acquisition Manager to execute fast moving M&A projects aligned to our vision and strategy. The successful candidate will have strong deal experience with a track record of running deal teams.

The position reports directly to the America’s Vice President of Business Development and Strategy and will work closely with the America’s leadership team.

The Business Development team is organized as a team of high-impact professionals who are fungible across different disciplines.  You will manage transaction execution activities including financial modelling, due diligence, integration planning and the closing process. 

What You Will Do:

• Support and lead development of acquisition and equity investment business cases through industry research, analysis of target company financials and generation of comprehensive financial models for senior executive audience

• Drive day-to-day execution of the acquisition process from valuation analysis to leading due diligence to closing

• Lead cross-functional teams performing due diligence and developing business cases

• Partner closely with business leaders on strategy development including identifying strategic gaps, evaluating build vs. buy options and identifying potential acquisition targets

• Developing and monitoring pipeline development, metrics and scorecard

• Monitoring post-acquisition performance and tracking key deal metrics

What You Need to Succeed:

• Strong financial modeling skills including discounted cash flow valuation, forecasting and accretion/dilution analysis

• Deep understanding of accounting concepts related to P&L and balance sheets

• Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint

• Direct experience in M&A and/or investment analysis, due diligence, and transaction execution

• Excellent project leadership as well as the ability to prioritize multiple assignments and perform well in a fast-paced work environment

• Working knowledge of assessing technology business models

• Strong verbal and written communication skills and experience in creating complex presentations for senior management

Experience:

• A Bachelors Degree in Economics, Business, Finance or Accounting

• The successful candidate would have spent at least 3-5 years executing transactions as a member of a Fortune 1000 Corporate Development / M&A team

• 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, including a strong background in mergers and acquisitions or completed an analyst program in an investment bank, transaction services or private equity firm

• Preferred completed MBA Program

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

• The expected Base Salary Range: $89,000 to $164,000.   The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
• Bonus Eligible: Yes
