Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, engineering, maintenance, automation, or industrial digitalization, with strong manufacturing knowledge.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading digital manufacturing, smart factory, automation, manufacturing execution system, operational technology, or data-driven improvement initiatives.
  • Strong manufacturing experience, preferably in large fast-moving consumer goods, consumer goods, hygiene, paper, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, or other high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Experience leading digital manufacturing transformation, smart factory, automation, manufacturing execution system, operational technology, or manufacturing data initiatives across multiple sites.
  • Experience working in a global or regional matrix organization and translating global standards into practical site-level execution.
  • Proven project or program management experience delivering digitalization, automation, data, or manufacturing system projects from planning through deployment, adoption, and value realization.
  • Ability to drive adoption of standard tools and processes across factories with different levels of digital maturity.
  • Understanding of manufacturing systems and technologies such as manufacturing execution systems, historians, supervisory control and data acquisition, programmable logic controller or distributed control system integration, industrial Internet of Things, dashboards, SAP Plant Maintenance, digital maintenance, analytics, and shopfloor execution tools.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority and build alignment across operations, information technology and operational technology, maintenance, engineering, quality, RESH, manufacturing excellence, and supply chain.
  • Strong business orientation connecting digital initiatives to measurable improvements in efficiency, reliability, safety, quality, sustainability, standard work, and decision-making.
  • Practical, hands-on approach balancing global standardization, local site needs, cybersecurity requirements, and operational realities.
Responsibilities
  • Translate the global manufacturing digitalization vision, strategy, and roadmap into a practical execution plan for the US region.
  • Contribute to the creation of global standards.
  • Set up digitalization governance models.
  • Lead creation of the US regional digitalization roadmap aligned with global standards, operational priorities, and business value.
  • Drive adoption of standard digital manufacturing tools across factories and ensure they are embedded into daily routines and deliver measurable impact.
  • Build and coordinate a network of site digitalization representatives or key users supporting local ownership, training, adoption, data quality, and follow-up.
  • Work with plant managers, production leaders, maintenance teams, engineers, operators, and technicians to understand operational needs and ensure digital solutions are practical, usable, and valuable on the shop floor.
  • Support change management by engaging frontline teams, incorporating feedback, simplifying work, improving visibility, reducing manual effort, and supporting better daily execution.
  • Lead or coordinate deployments of manufacturing execution systems, historians, dashboards, industrial Internet of Things solutions, digital maintenance tools, skills management tools, and other shopfloor digital tools.
  • Promote consistent data practices, key performance indicator alignment with global standards, data quality, and analytics usage across US factories.
  • Partner with information technology, operational technology, and information security to ensure digital manufacturing solutions follow cybersecurity, architecture, and governance standards.
  • Identify and prioritize digital use cases that improve production efficiency, maintenance reliability, sustainability, quality, safety, standard work, and decision-making.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience or exposure to artificial intelligence, machine learning, advanced analytics, robotics, and automation projects, especially for future stages of the regional digital manufacturing roadmap.

Essity today held the Annual General Meeting at Stockholm Waterfront Congress Centre, Sweden.STOCKHOLM, March 27, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The Meeting approved the Parent Company income statement and balance sheet and the consolidated income statement and consolidated balance sheet for 2024.The meeting resolved on a dividend for the financial year 2024 of SEK 8.25 per share. Record date for the dividend is set to Monday, March 31, 2025. The dividend is expected to be distributed by Euroclear Sweden AB on Thursday, April 3, 2025.The Meeting resolved that the remuneration to each director elected by the Annual General Meeting who is not employed by the company shall amount to SEK 960,000 and the Chairman of the Board of Directors is to receive SEK 2,880,000. Each member of the Remuneration Committee is to receive an additional remuneration of SEK 145,000, while the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee is to receive an additional remuneration of SEK 170,000.
