Requirements
  • Experience selling enterprise SaaS solutions with a $100K+ ACV
  • 5+ years SaaS sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a complex sales cycle, from lead generation to closing
  • Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate the value proposition of our solutions
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product and customer success teams
  • Proven ability to build relationships and sell to C-level executives and decision-makers in large, complex organizations
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Experience with Solution Selling and Challenger methodologies
  • History of achievement: Proven and consistent record of exceeding revenue goals and closing complex, multi-year deals
  • Willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Experience working for, or delivering services to, universities and colleges is a significant plus
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze customer needs and match them with our solutions
  • Technical acumen, i.e. can speak elegantly on SaaS platforms, APIs, data security, etc
  • Thrives in an exciting, fast-paced, action-packed work environment
Responsibilities
  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting (with the help of Marketing and SDRs) to close, and beyond
  • Define and execute the “go to market” business plan for your territory(ies)
  • Research, identify, and qualify net new business prospects (with support from a Sales Development team)
  • Demonstrate Interfolio's SaaS platform and all associated portfolio offerings comfortably and effectively to audiences at all client levels (presidents, provosts, IT, HR, etc.)
  • Visit and meet with prospects and clients; International travel likely
  • Represent Interfolio at (virtual and/or in person) conferences and other networking events
  • Embrace a sales culture that holds itself accountable to data, reporting, and “the power formula”
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets and revenue goals
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline with detailed notes and staging in Salesforce and other tools
  • Represent Interfolio with the utmost professionalism and integrity
  • Seek and absorb information; practice active listening, read industry news and articles
  • Collaborate amicably and constructively with everyone at Interfolio
  • When necessary, travel to conferences and events, and to meet with prospects, clients, and partners
  • Become an FIS expert user; demonstrate its capabilities and ease of use to others
