Zeta was founded by serial entrepreneurs Bhavin Turakhia and Ramki Gaddipati in 2015 to bring Banking into the 21st century. OUR JOURNEY
In May of 2021, Zeta secured a $250 million investment from SoftBank Vision Fund 2 in one of the largest ever single investments in a banking tech startup globally. This investment, coupled with Zeta’s growth trajectory, has increased Zeta’s previous valuation of $300 million to a current valuation of $
1.45 billion resulting in unicorn status. Zeta now operates in 8 countries and to date has issued more than 10 million cards globally.
Zeta has built the industry’s most modern digital cloud native platform in the industry, consisting of new age prepaid / debit / credit issuance digital products for banks, retailers and fintech issuers. These products provide a new age (“Apple card like”) user experience and enables Financial Institutions to rapidly deliver digital-first modern payment solutions including credit / debit / prepaid, digital banking, gifting, benefits, DDA, commercial card, expense management and money transfer. All of these services are vertically integrated into a single platform with fully developed front-end digital and back-office security, fraud, compliance, support, and configuration services.

Key Responsibilities
- Reporting into the Senior Director of Banking & Strategic Accounts, you will be responsible for working across cross- functional teams from various business units to deliver complex programs for our Axon card app and solutions suite.
- This is a newly created growth position adding to our existing team. Your role will primarily comprise the following:
- Delivery - As a Program Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams from different business units to deliver complex programs. You will plan and manage project schedules, anticipate project risks and provide mitigation strategies. You will as need be provided escalation management recommending engineering trade-offs and decisions aligned with business goals
- Stakeholder Management - You will manage conflicts, drive effective teamwork, communication and collaboration partnering across multiple business units with competing priorities.
- Program Management - As a Technical Program Manager, you will identify opportunities, define and institutionalize processes for accurately capturing scope, dependencies, schedule, metrics, risks for program success and effectively communicating the program status and updates/reports to all stakeholders on a regular cadence.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Overall, 8-10 years of software industry experience (preferably in product development)
- 5+ years of strong experience managing large cross-functional software projects right from inception to launch seeing the full life cycle with a deep understanding of agile methodologies.
- Experience providing cross-functional coordination with engineering, product and inter/intra team communications to technical and non-technical groups.
- Experience working with tools to manage schedule, cost and risks of ongoing projects and provide reports to management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven ability to build strong relationships and lead and influence cross-functional and partner teams.
- Exercise good business judgement skills to find short-term solutions working cross- Functionally for difficult/tricky engineering problems while not sacrificing the long-term goals.
- Experience architecting fault-tolerant, highly available and scalable distributed architecture systems.
- Good knowledge of one or more technology stack (preferably Java, Spring boot and Postgresql), preferably a PMP or Agile PM certification.
- Knowledge of JIRA
- Strong drive to bring change, identifies opportunities and highly perseverant until they are realized Challenges status-quo and always pushes for new, innovative and simple solutions
- Excellent communication skills, somebody who can understand the business problem/domain fast and articulate problem/solution to different audience types (technical/business). Obsessive ownership towards individual and team goals and does it right

- MBA from an accredited, top tier institution is not required but highly desired
