Requirements
  • At least 10 years of progressive business development and marketing leadership experience, preferably in the architecture, engineering, and construction industries or a similarly complex, relationship-driven sector.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success securing significant contracts and building market position through strategic prepositioning and client relationship development.
  • Experience managing a team with diverse talents, including design, communication, and marketing strategy, with the ability to develop individuals and the team.
  • Deep knowledge of business development, marketing, and pursuit strategies in the construction or professional services industry.
  • Proficiency with customer relationship management platforms, specifically Salesforce, and the ability to define strategy and partner with technology teams to optimize systems.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, client procurement processes, and competitive positioning in the Pacific Northwest and broader architecture, engineering, and construction market.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to facilitate strategy sessions and executive-level presentations with credibility and confidence.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate market data, customer relationship management intelligence, and client feedback into strategic action.
  • Ability to develop campaigns, events, and programs.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to lead multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently, proactively identify opportunities, and lead solutions.
