About the Team and Role:

Manager of Global Markets Finance

The Global Markets FP&A Manager will lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to support strategic decision‑making across the organization. You’ll partner with business leaders to translate financial data into actionable insights, optimize performance, and drive long‑term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the annual budgeting process, forecasts, and long‑range financial planning

• Consolidating forecasts, validating accurate financial reporting, and building key themes in the global story, keeping the bigger picture in mind

• Drive process improvements, streamline reporting, and identify efficiencies 

• Provide monthly reports comparing actual trends against budget and forecast assumptions by region and focus categories

• Finance support for employee expenses, which includes monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and ad-hoc support

• Prepare presentations for senior leadership for monthly business reviews

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting, or Finance

• 8+ years of finance experience with exposure to areas such as Finance, Accounting, and Business Analysis

• Excellent MS Office and Google Suite skills, plus experience with financial systems, such as Anaplan and SAP 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Exceptional analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills

• Ability to influence cross‑functional partners and present complex information clearly

• Customer focused attitude with the energy and desire to effectively collaborate and influence across a global organization; including working with all levels and with remote team members

• Appreciation of eBay’s cultural values and behaviors as well as familiarity with eBay through experience buying and selling on the platform

A successful candidate will possess sound strategic perspective, business judgment, financial documents understanding, financial story-telling capabilities, and a collaborative working style.  The ability to manage partners through clear communication and cross-functional relationships is extremely important. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
