Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience as a technical editor in an IC organization
  • Ability to proofread, edit, and correct text for style and accuracy
  • Ability to apply IC analytic standards and analytic tradecraft standards as defined in the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act, DIA Style Guide, classification guides, Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 203: Analytic Standards, and ICD 206: Sourcing Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Possession of excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Reviews and edits online and copy content, checking for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors, and verifies the validity of information and facts in submitted content and ensures writing satisfies house style.
  • Applies advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge.
  • Develops innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Works without considerable direction and mentors and supervises team members, as needed.
