  • Can articulate ways the documentation, sample code, and the overall product can be improved to make all developers' lives easier
  • Has a point of view on what makes a great documentation experience-how a site should be organized and navigated, how search should work, and how to help developers find the information they need as quickly as possible
  • Is a data-informed decision-maker who experiments with new ways to help our customers learn our products faster; asks questions, captures metrics, and uses the results to advise where our success stands and opportunities lie
  • Has passion for technology that inspires them to explore curiosity; loves learning new things
  • Work to continually improve the end-to-end developer experience across Grammarly, particularly as it relates to the process of discovering, learning, and adopting new developer capabilities
  • Own the content and customer experience for documentation at developer.grammarly.com/docs in collaboration with Product and Engineering
  • Work with Product, Engineering, and Design to develop new content in support of the launch of new features
  • Represent the voice of developers as features are being designed
  • Be the first to try new features as they are implemented and give usability feedback to the team
  • Maintain existing content as the product evolves
  • Work with engineering to develop manual and automated tests and metrics to ensure documentation stays up to date and accurate as the product evolves
  • Develop code snippets and simple sample applications as supporting artifacts for developers learning Grammarly's APIs
  • Along with our Developer Advocate team, review feedback and usage metrics from developers on our documentation experience and develop plans to respond to their feedback to improve the experience
  • Occasionally contribute to internal documentation and artifacts used to educate and empower internal Sales, Support, and Customer Success teams on API capabilities
  • Develop and evolve the voice, style, and standards for developer documentation at Grammarly, alongside our Writing & Content Design team
