Requirements
  • BE/B-Tech / ME/ MTech in Computer Science and Engineering or MCA
  • 10+ years of experience in Power BI and ETL and experience with migration of existing reports from Oracle Analytics Cloud/Oracle Analytics Server/Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition
  • Strong expertise in data import, data modeling, calculated columns, measures, custom visuals, KPI and scorecard implementation and tables, data transformation
  • Experience in designing interactive dashboards, tooltips, bookmarks, slicers, custom visuals, KPI and scorecard implementation
  • Good understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 data model (tables)
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse principles and practices
  • Expertise in designing reports with single as well as multiple data sources and databases
  • Expertise in robust scheduling and monitoring processes, Power BI REST API, Paginated reports
  • Expertise with Oracle SQL Developer or similar query tools and strong understanding of SQL
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
  • Strong team player, partnering with senior/executive management and individual contributors
  • Excellent presentation/communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Formulate automated reports and dashboards using Power BI and other reporting tools
  • Understand business requirements to set functional specifications for reporting applications
  • Exhibit a foundational understanding of database concepts such as relational database architecture and multidimensional database design
  • Design data models that transform raw data into insightful knowledge by understanding business requirements in the context of business intelligence
  • Develop technical specifications from business needs and set a deadline for work completion
  • Make charts and data documentation that include descriptions of the techniques, parameters, models, and relationships
  • Develop Power BI desktop reports to create dashboards, KPI scorecards, and visual reports
  • Migrate OBIEE/OAC reports to Power BI reporting tool
  • Establish row-level security on data and comprehend Power BI's application security layer models
  • Examine, comprehend, and study business needs as they relate to business intelligence
  • Design and map data models to transform raw data into insightful information
  • Create dynamic and eye-catching dashboards and reports using Power BI
  • Make necessary tactical and technological adjustments to enhance current business intelligence systems
  • Integrate data, alter data, and connect to data sources for business intelligence
  • Responsible for full lifecycle knowledge and support of Oracle Analytics Cloud including business analysis, design, development, ETL, testing, deployment, and support
  • Manage the Power BI environment and its underlying data, ensuring performance, security, and data integrity, while also developing and troubleshooting reports and dashboards
  • Identify and resolve technical issues related to Power BI reports, dashboards, data gateways, and data refresh processes
  • Optimize the performance of Power BI solutions and underlying databases through indexing, query tuning, and capacity planning
  • Ensure that Business Intelligence services meet the required service support levels
  • Work with Internal Audit and support SOX compliance requirements related to auditable applications
  • Some international travel may be required to support global business requirements

Universal Electronics reports first profitable year since 2022, targets $0.45-$0.65 EPS for 2026

Universal Electronics (Nasdaq: UEIC) reported its first profitable year since 2022 on a non-GAAP basis, despite declining revenues. Fourth-quarter net sales fell to $87.7 million from $110.5 million year-over-year, whilst full-year sales dropped to $368.3 million from $394.9 million. The Scottsdale-based company improved gross margins by 1.3 percentage points in Q4 through operational efficiency. GAAP operating expenses decreased by $10.5 million in the quarter. For the full year, adjusted non-GAAP operating income reached $6.3 million, compared to $2.2 million in 2024. The board approved expanding the share buyback programme by up to one million additional shares. The company repurchased $3.1 million of stock during 2025. For 2026, UEI expects revenue decline but improved profitability, with adjusted non-GAAP earnings per share projected at $0.45 to $0.65.
