SUMMARY:
The Sales Development Manager will be responsible for leading a team of sales development representatives by on-boarding, training and managing a team of 8 representatives. This role requires constant oversight of sales development representatives in order to ensure each is hitting a qualified opportunity quota each month. You will provide weekly reporting to sales leadership on each rep’s progress and metric attainment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor SDR metrics and activity to ensure each is hitting benchmarks on a daily basis
- Hire and On-board SDRs by leading the training process from Placer knowledge to cold call certification
- Provide 1:1 mentorship and coaching to each individual representative
- Manage SFDC reporting to provide upper management with team metrics on a weekly basis
- Provide SDRs with a coaching cadence of time management, objection handling, prospecting tactics, and active listening skills
- Strategize with sales and marketing counterparts on pipeline and prospecting initiatives to meet company objectives
- Establish a library of prospecting resources for the SDR team
- Maintain a high-performance SDR Team culture and morale (work hard, play hard, rest hard)
- Drive operational excellence through constant innovation
- Manage a team of 8 quota-carrying representatives
REQUIREMENTS:
- BA/BS or similar college-level education
- 3+ Years in Sales Development
- 2+ Years managing a Sales Development team
- Experience building reports in SFDC
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including high-level interactions with internal and external contacts
- Proven ability scale and grow a team
- A history of consistently performing above quota in an outbound sales environment
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills demonstrated through superior communication and presentation skills
