Responsibilities
  • Supervise preventive, predictive, and scheduled maintenance of mechanical equipment, including all gas plant systems, portable gas plants at well sites, and pigging operations
  • Provide and/or direct the maintenance of all rotating and static equipment
  • Implement and adhere to maintenance and repair procedures in accordance with established standards to ensure the integrity and safety of mechanical systems
  • Carry out and oversee routine maintenance checks and report/resolve any faults or abnormalities of equipment
  • Investigate mechanical equipment failures and recommend corrective actions
  • Troubleshoot breakdowns and carry out necessary repairs
  • Implement effective equipment maintenance/overhaul of specified equipment in accordance with company and vendor procedures to facilitate maximum reliability, availability and safety of the equipment (valves, compressors, pumps, vessels, heat exchangers, fans, piping etc.)
  • Install or modify mechanical equipment for both hazardous and non-hazardous environments, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations
  • Collaborate with the safety department to uphold a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures in line with regulatory and company standards
  • Manage inventory and ordering of spare parts and equipment
  • Develop and update maintenance procedures for all equipment as needed
  • Coordinate with Lead Operator on any equipment or maintenance issues
