Requirements
  • A professional qualification or degree in logistics, warehousing, or a related field is required.
  • At least five years of recent supervisory experience in yard, inventory, or warehouse management is required.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
  • The ability to meet deadlines and prioritize is required.
  • Excellent software skills, including Excel, Word, and Doka’s internal systems, are required.
  • The ability to work unsupervised and a hands-on mentality are required.
  • Experience leading multicultural teams is required.
  • Excellent communication skills and a diplomatic attitude are required.
  • An analytical and economical approach is required.
  • A proactive approach and attention to detail are required.
Responsibilities
  • Support the efficient management and execution of all yard operations tasks in line with global Doka quality guidelines and procedures.
  • Manage daily workflow and manpower according to workload, including personnel matters.
  • Train and develop the multicultural warehouse team.
  • Communicate with internal and external yard staff, department heads, customers, and truck drivers.
  • Prepare and regularly monitor key performance indicators for yard operations.
  • Ensure a safe work environment in collaboration with the QHSE officer and in line with the company’s QHSE policy.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
  • Ensure the appropriate use and maintenance of tools, machinery, and digital applications.
  • Manage complaints, including assessment, stakeholder communication, follow-up, and documentation in the relevant systems.
  • Execute and manage regular stock takes, including spot checks, partial inventories, and annual inventories, to ensure optimal stock accuracy.
  • Assist with the strategic development of the department.
  • Encourage motivation, engagement, and team spirit to achieve strong team performance.
  • Work temporarily as a team leader and material inspector as required.
Desired Qualifications
  • A forklift license and driving license are a plus.
