  • Accounts Payable:
  • Assist with the processing and submission of invoices for payment into the Company's accounting system
  • Coordinate with MLB Office of the Commissioner for the setup and maintenance of new vendors
  • Assist with processing of purchase orders into the accounting system
  • Maintain excellent business relationships with vendors, employees, and other administrative departments in support of AP procedures
  • Payroll:
  • Assist with data entry into the Company's time and attendance system, as well as the Company's payroll system
  • Assist with the preparation of payroll related documents (i.e., payroll balancing spreadsheet, active employee listing, etc.)
  • Maintain an ongoing knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local pay and tax related laws and regulations
  • Assist with the preparation of bi-weekly payroll and all related payroll reports including, but not limited to, tax deposits, 941 quarterly filings, W-2's and other year-end reports
  • Partner with the Human Resources Department to ensure the integrity of the payroll data, including data related to new hires, terminations, transfers and rate changes
  • Maintain a variety of files and records related to garnishment, levies and other income adjustments
  • Other such duties as required
