Responsibilities
  • Leads and/or participates in the organization, management, and implementation of projects that require broad cross-institutional support and input from multiple stakeholders.
  • Ensures all projects have timelines and teams have clear goals, objectives, and milestones consistent with objectives.
  • Leads and directs process improvement activities, creating demonstrable efficiencies.
  • Identify, develop and implement tools for appropriate project tracking and monitoring.
  • Directs cross functional efforts to assess, develop and finalize business development, such as financial/accounting, due diligence, legal, reimbursement, regulatory and compliance, information technology and other areas, as needed.
  • Evaluates overall fit of business development efforts within the context of strategic direction of pharmacy services.
  • Prepares and presents business opportunities to the senior leadership team and others.
  • Systematically cultivates and maintains long-term, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and with other organizations to achieve mutual goals.
  • Thinks creatively and strategically to successfully mediate and negotiate with individuals and groups internally and externally to foster effective partnerships.
  • Establishes processes for effective organizational communication, development and governance.
  • Provides ongoing motivation, coaching, guidance and mentoring support to teams.
  • Oversees contracted services (environmental services, security, maintenance).
Desired Qualifications
  • 5-10 years of business experience with a minimum of 1 year of experience leading a team of business analysts.
  • Prefer 1-2 years working at a national healthcare consulting firm as a business consultant to major healthcare organizations.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience, including demonstrated experience in a consulting and/or project management role; financial analysis and strategic planning experience, preferably in a healthcare environment a strong plus
  • Must have demonstrated experience creating and delivering business case studies to C suite executives, identifying business revenue growth and revenue stream generation.
  • Must have experience with business Pro Forma creation and analysis and ROI presentation to influence and gain approval for revenue growth projects.
  • Must have experience leading projects in complex and matrixed organizations with experience influencing large and diverse groups of business stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of process analysis and improvement, project management, change management principles along with demonstrated project management and/or consulting background.
  • Strong work ethic, ability to take initiative without direct oversight and to work independently in a fast paced, evolving environment. Accountable for delivering high-quality work with a clear sense of ownership. Proactive, resourceful, self-starter, with a can-do attitude to drive projects to completion.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams including staff at all levels of the organization; thrives working in teams and can also work independently.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to deliver presentations to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Strong PC skills (e.g., MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio).
