Requirements
  • 20+ years marketing experience on multiple brands and segments.
  • 15+ years leading sales-led marketing team(s) in a heavily matrixed organization, ideally from the CE, CPG, and/or Retail industry.
  • 10+ years driving omni-channel / digital marketing initiatives; passion for understanding, leveraging, and building on the digital ecosystem.
  • Exceptional track record of leading and developing teams and collaborating with customers (retailers) and internally with sales, corporate marketing/marketing services, product marketing, s.com, etc.
  • Intimate understanding of and passion for the retailer with experience partnering with $1B+ accounts to find new / better ways to partner and integrate.
  • Keen ability to apply consumer insights and analyses (e.g., retail scanning, category insights data, brand-specific qualitative/quantitative research) to diagnose issues and discover opportunities.
  • Brand marketing fundamentals (consumer/shopper, equity/products, go to market), and in particular, the ability to identify and translate specific consumer and shopper insights and broader category insights into a single-minded strategy and action plan that delivers on specific growth objectives and goals.
  • Experience leading and working with marketing agencies to deliver integrated marketing plans, initiatives, and promotions.
  • Highly organized/detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in developing marketing and sales presentations, using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A passion for technology.
Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of results-focused marketing professionals.
  • Support the annual volume, share and financial objectives agreed by the business for the Home Electronics brand and entire segment, by creating awareness and affinity for HE products.
  • Create, establish, develop and deliver the activity set for the following calendar year.
  • Identify and leverage consumer insights for brand in communication and product propositions.
  • Oversee target audience definition; analyze existing market research and shape the target audience definition.
  • Craft compelling value propositions that fundamentally address what experiences should be communicated to the target audience and *Why Samsung.*
  • Oversee campaign management, including optimizing the strategy, plan and creative deliverables for all marketing campaigns for the HE sector.
  • Develop, implement, deliver and measure the results of marketing initiatives that drive brand growth.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver the agreed brand activities on time and complete.
  • Marketing plan: the role is expected to document the quarterly and annual marketing plan, detailing the marketing initiatives and priorities that deliver growth in line with the business plan.
