Enveda is looking for a Research Associate, Natural Products to join our team in Boulder, Colorado!

We are looking for an innovative, self-motivated and experienced candidate as a Compound Management Laboratory Technician. The successful candidate will be part of the team to help receiving and accessioning samples and compounds from internal and external sources. In addition, the candidate will have wide-ranging responsibilities and opportunities within a dynamic, enthusiastic, highly interdisciplinary, and collaborative team.

As a member of the Platform Operations team, you will report to the Senior Manager.
You get to collaborate on:
- Receiving and accessioning samples and compounds from internal and external sources
- Daily database entry of samples and compounds
- Maintaining accurate inventory in multiple storage conditions
- Performing solubilization practices on multiple sample types while recording accurate concentration and volume
- Pipetting manually and with automated liquid handling robots
- Preparing and distributing samples to both internal and external customers
- Helping create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and streamline processes in the laboratory
- Logging samples and creating reports within the LIMS/ELN database system (Benchling)
- Registering compounds and batches in a compound management database (CDD Vault)
Who will thrive in this role?
- Excellent communication (verbal, written and presentation) in one-on-one and in group settings.
- Detail-oriented and proficient at time management.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and requests based on priority
- Team orientated – ‘one-team’ behavior is a must.
- Experience using a microliter single-channel and multi-channel pipette
- Experience in sample/compound accessioning, distribution, inventory and database management
- Ability to work independently and adhere to given timelines with little overview
- Ability to verify & perform quality checks on your own work and make corrections as needed
- Willingness to learn new skills as needed and on demand
- Coding/ SQL experience is a plus
- Automated Liquid handling experience is a plus
- BS/BA in chemistry, biology, biochemistry or related field from an accredited institution with 2+ years of work experience in an academic or industrial laboratory setting
