- Ability to work safely in a constant state of alertness.
- Ability to meet the stated physical requirements, including standing and walking, lifting and carrying objects, keyboard use and data entry, patient movement, and occasional driving.
- Assist with provider-ordered treatments under the supervision of a provider or registered nurse and perform select clinical duties.
- Interview patients, measure vital signs, record information in patient charts, and prepare treatment rooms for examinations.
- Answer phones, maintain records, schedule patients, and file documents.
- Order and stock supplies and help maintain a clean and orderly environment.
- Document provider encounters with patients when required, including diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions as indicated by the provider.
- Transcribe patient orders for laboratory tests, radiology tests, and medications.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
