Requirements
  • MD or DO degree with a minimum of two years of experience in Allergy.
  • Experience in food allergy, including food challenges.
  • Must be licensed as a medical doctor or doctor of osteopathic medicine in the state of the assigned clinic location.
  • Must be board eligible or board certified in Allergy and Immunology.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients and clinical staff.
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in a difficult or emergent situation.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to manually take patient vitals.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage food and environmental allergy testing for patients using percutaneous allergy skin testing and intracutaneous allergy testing.
  • Deliver quality care to patients during assessment, physical examination, and treatment planning.
  • Diagnose or treat allergic or immunologic conditions.
  • Provide oral immunotherapy treatment.
  • Order or perform diagnostic tests, including skin prick, intradermal, and patch testing, as needed.
  • Administer subcutaneous immunotherapy injections.
  • Intake and assess new patients.
  • Request necessary history and treatment plans from outside providers when indicated.
  • Create plans of care and treatment plans for new patients.
  • Provide direct patient care, including medical assessments and follow-ups.
  • Set an example of compassionate and knowledgeable medical care.
  • Stay abreast of developments in Allergy and Immunology and communicate relevant information to other providers in the center.
  • Oversee midlevel providers in practice.
  • Participate in meetings as appropriate or requested by the medical director.
  • Manage an appropriate caseload, including paperwork, and complete charting within 48 hours of the patient visit.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to diagnose, manage, and evolve patient care.
  • Travel to assigned sites.
  • Provide mentorship to clinical staff.
  • Develop relationships with referring medical providers and the local medical community.
  • Attend lunches and events with the assigned territory provider relationship representative to build credibility and market Aspire.
  • Adhere to standard metrics for testing, treatment, and intralymphatic procedure conversions.
