Role Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated marketing intern to join our EMEA Field Marketing Team. This is a 12 month paid internship starting in June 2025 through to the end of June 2026.
We will be holding an in-person assessment day during the last week of January 2025 and as such, candidates must be able to commit to attending in order to be considered.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to work with our Marketing Managers across the EMEA region to implement marketing campaigns, support with event and webinar delivery, monitor social media platforms, and conduct analysis and reporting on the activity.
In addition to being a skilled communicator, you should have excellent multitasking and organisational abilities. This internship will allow you to acquire essential marketing skills, work with marketing experts across the globe, and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies and platforms. Ultimately, you will gain comprehensive experience with a wide range of transferable skills in marketing to prepare you to enter any fast-paced environment in the future.
These positions are being offered as fully remote with a requirement to attend our headquarters in Abingdon, Oxfordshire on a regular basis (no less than once a month) to meet with the wider team.
What You Will Do
- Support with marketing campaigns – the creation of collateral, copywriting, proofreading, email creation and campaign reporting.
- Support with virtual and in-person events – event registration pages, social media promotion, creation of delegate packs, event reporting, and where necessary, attend the events.
- Support the webinar programme - webinar creation, scheduling, registration tracking, webinar hosting, and post-webinar reporting.
- Using internal systems such as Salesforce, Asana, Zoom and Microsoft Teams to update information, manage your workload, and effectively communicate with the marketing team.
- Create copy and content for key marketing communications and use supporting creative tools such as Taxi, Cvent and Canva to build emails, event registration pages and social media posts.
- Help to ensure that the wider Sophos teams, including the regional sales teams, are kept up-to-date with planned marketing activities.
What You Will Bring
- Currently a graduate student within a Marketing discipline seeking a 12 month industry placement.
- A keen interest in Marketing and a desire to develop commercial experience in this field.
- Good project management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong written skills.
- Confident, self-motivated, and able to manage own workload.
- Previous work experience in an office environment desired.

- Location: Remote but able to attend our Abingdon, Oxfordshire headquarters no less than once per month.
