Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data science, including a proven track record of deploying AI solutions at scale.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an additional 2 years of training or experience in lieu of the degree.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, and XGBoost.
  • Expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and Generative AI, including GPT, BERT, DALL·E, and diffusion models.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform and AI/ML deployment tools.
  • Experience with large language model fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation, and prompt engineering.
  • Experience with MLOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery for machine learning, model monitoring, and automated retraining.
  • Proficiency in Databricks for large-scale data processing and model development.
  • Understanding of data engineering concepts, including data pipelines, extract, transform, load, and feature engineering.
  • Ability to translate business challenges into AI solutions.
  • Ability to present technical concepts to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence technical and business teams.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum age of 18.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and deployment of AI and machine learning models, including Generative AI-powered applications, to enhance operational efficiency and revenue optimization.
  • Oversee the full AI/ML software development lifecycle, including model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Ensure the team's delivery of responsible, reliable AI and machine learning solutions in production.
  • Develop and integrate Generative AI models for text generation, summarization, conversational AI, and content creation to support automation and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering, MLOps, Information Technology Services, and business stakeholders to integrate AI and Generative AI solutions into enterprise systems.
  • Ensure best practices in model deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization.
  • Establish scalable AI frameworks and reusable model architectures to accelerate solution deployment.
  • Guide adoption of MLOps practices for traditional and Generative AI model deployment, versioning, monitoring, and retraining.
  • Assess the applicability of large language models, agentic and multimodal AI, and transformer-based architectures for business use cases.
  • Mentor and develop the team through performance management, ongoing feedback, and stretch assignments.
  • Present AI and Generative AI models and findings to stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's or Ph.D. degree in artificial intelligence, data science, computer science, industrial engineering, statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience developing enterprise-level Generative AI applications, including chatbot development, document summarization, and AI-assisted workflows.
  • Experience in commercial aviation, logistics, or operational optimization.
  • Experience integrating AI and Generative AI into production systems and enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of reinforcement learning, causal inference, or advanced statistical modeling techniques.
