Position Overview:

HeyGen seeks an experienced visual designer with a strong command of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and some After Effects skills to produce marketing designs for web, email, collateral, event and general brand. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience with graphic design, user interface design, interaction and brand design. The visual designer is part of a cross-functional marketing team responsible for developing visual concepts and bringing them to life. 

Essential Roles & Responsibilities

The selected candidate should be able to perform the following duties:

• Design brand and marketing pieces across all channels, telling a visually compelling and brand consistent story that makes HeyGen looked fun and sophisticated
• Possess a mastery of typography, composition, montage, color and interaction design, plus persuasive storytelling for video and web
• Use their strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Figma to do the best work of their careers
• Develop social media infographics, banner ads, collateral, web pages, modules and brand story / activations
• Collaborate with marketing types to help us achieve awareness and pipeline goals
• Help us evolve the brand visual system
• Work within brand guidelines to create layouts that reinforce a brand’s voice through its visual touchpoints
• Design trade show events once a year
• Design user-centered interaction models, wireframes or screen mockups
• Design logos, icons and infographics
• Work with a component library if necessary
• Develop mood boards and color studies

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Strong portfolio showcasing past work in B2C and or B2B
• Ability to meet deadlines consistently, project management, professionalism
• Excellent communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of graphic design principles and web design, some animation
• Extensive knowledge of ui design principles for web, knowledge of CMS systems
• Ability to work directly with a developer to recreate Figma designs accurately for launch
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to take / apply constructive feedback

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in graphic design, visual communication for marketing
• Web design, event signage, social media, and some animation.

• Contract Hourly Rate: $50-60/hr
