Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Human Resources experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, or operations environments preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and site leadership to execute business priorities, workforce strategies, and organizational development initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent interpretation, communication, and application of company policies, procedures, and employment practices.
  • Coordinate and support full-cycle recruiting activities, including requisition management, candidate screening, interviewing, and pre-employment processes.
  • Lead and facilitate new employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a positive employee experience and successful integration into the organization.
  • Support internal talent movement by facilitating internal candidate processes and promoting a positive employee experience.
  • Maintain employee records and personnel files in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and data privacy standards.
  • Process and maintain employee data changes within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
  • Support annual performance management and merit review processes, including preparation of reports, presentations, and supporting materials.
  • Assist with preparation of HR metrics, audits, reports, and workforce analytics to support business decision-making.
  • Provide support for Leave of Absence and Workers' Compensation administration, including employee communication and documentation management.
  • Conduct employee relations investigations and assist leaders with corrective action processes, documentation, and policy interpretation.
  • Support employee engagement, recognition, communication, and retention initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and special projects that enhance HR processes, services, and employee experience.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies and procedures.

Newell Brands upsizes debt offering to $600M with 6.25% senior notes due 2031

Newell Brands announced the upsizing and pricing of $600 million in 6.250% senior unsecured notes due 2031. The offering is expected to close on 19 August 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. The company plans to use the net proceeds to redeem in full its outstanding 6.375% senior notes due 2027, pay related fees and expenses, and repay a portion of its five-year asset-based revolving credit facility dated 30 July 2026. The notes are being offered only to qualified institutional buyers under Rule 144A and to certain non-US persons under Regulation S, both exempt from Securities Act registration requirements. Newell Brands is a consumer goods company with brands including Rubbermaid, Sharpie, Graco, Coleman, and Yankee Candle.

Newell Brands posts first growth since 2021, stock jumps 15% on $126M tariff relief

Newell Brands reported its first year-over-year sales growth since 2021, sending shares up 15% to $5.90. The consumer goods maker posted second-quarter net sales of $1.994 billion, up 3% and beating analyst expectations of $1.978 billion. Adjusted earnings reached 42 cents per share, more than double the consensus estimate of 19 cents. Results included $126 million in pretax recoveries from tariff refunds, adding roughly 21 cents per share. Five of six business units posted core sales growth, with the US market growing 5%. The company gained market share in brands including Graco, Sharpie, Expo, and Coleman. Gross margin improved to 40.7% from 35.4%. Management raised full-year adjusted earnings guidance to 73-77 cents per share from 56-60 cents, well above the 58-cent consensus. Newell still carries $5 billion in debt and faces $200 million in inflationary costs this year.

Newell Brands Q2 earnings beat estimates by 121%, shares up 38% this year

Newell Brands reported second-quarter earnings of $0.42 per share, significantly beating the consensus estimate of $0.19 per share. This represents an earnings surprise of 121.05% compared to $0.24 per share in the same period last year. The consumer products company posted revenues of $1.99 billion for the quarter ended June 2026, surpassing estimates by 1.28%. This compares to year-ago revenues of $1.94 billion. Newell Brands shares have gained 38.2% since the beginning of the year, outperforming the S&P 500's 8.7% gain. The company has exceeded consensus earnings estimates twice over the last four quarters and topped revenue estimates three times during the same period. Newell Brands returns to sales growth after four years, raises 2026 outlook on tariff refund boost

Newell Brands returned to sales growth in the second quarter of 2026 for the first time in over four years. Net sales reached $2.0 billion, up 3.0% year-over-year, whilst core sales grew 2.3%. The company's results exceeded expectations across all key metrics. Gross margin improved to 40.7% from 35.4% in the prior year period. Normalised operating margin increased to 16.2% compared with 10.7% previously. Diluted earnings per share rose to $0.25 from $0.11 in the prior year period. Normalised diluted EPS reached $0.42, up from $0.24. Second quarter results included approximately $100 million in pretax tariff recoveries related to IEEPA tariffs expensed in 2025. Based on its second quarter performance, Newell raised its full year outlook for sales growth, operating margin, earnings per share, and operating cash flow.
