  • 5+ years in accounting

Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of accountants, including Sr. & staff accountants
  • Prepare, review and/or ensure completion of recurring activities including, including journal entry approvals, month-end/year-end closings, reconciliations, financial reporting
  • Assist internal departments providing accounting expertise and support ongoing company initiatives, enhancing the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
  • Assists Controller in researching applicable accounting standards to ensure internal and external compliance in recording and reporting transactions
  • Leads team performance through regular feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations, fostering a culture of excellence, engagement, and professional development
  • Advise on areas from improvement seeking efficiency and effectiveness in all processes
  • Serve as a key liaison with external auditors, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders, facilitating audit requests and addressing inquiries in a timely manner
