  • Bachelors’ degree in engineering, business, economics, finance, environmental science, or related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the renewable energy industry in the U.S.
  • Experience and familiarity with all facets of land development
  • Experience managing project schedules and budgets
  • Experience managing cross-functional employee groups
  • Knowledge of governmental mandates, environmental regulations, or customer/market signals impacting renewable projects
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage simultaneous projects/work streams
  • Ability to travel as required (>25%)
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain industry relationships/contacts
  • Manage and execute the development of renewable energy projects
  • Identify and implement creative project development approaches
  • Conduct due diligence on development-stage projects
  • Manage development services agreements with partners
  • Collaborate with internal teams for land acquisition and engineering
  • Lead negotiation of critical project contracts
  • Support financing diligence efforts
  • Create and manage project budgets and schedules
  • Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity with respect to all functions
