  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least three years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or in a similar role is required.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and techniques is required.
  • Familiarity with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and various appliances is required.
  • Working knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, and drywall is required.
  • The ability to supervise, teach, and motivate staff is required.
  • The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software is required.
  • The ability to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergencies is required.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff.
  • Prioritize work orders.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules.
  • Inspect facilities and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the condition of all vacant apartments.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and repairs.
  • Order and maintain inventory of necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Train and mentor maintenance staff.
  • Communicate with other departments to coordinate maintenance work.
Desired Qualifications
  • A technical degree or certification is preferred.
  • Experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or in a similar role beyond the required minimum is desirable.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills are desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are desirable.
