Requirements
- 3+ years experience with commercial or industrial HVAC
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience working with/around high voltage electrical up to 480v
- High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
- Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5+ years of related experience in general industry
- HVAC, Electrical Distribution, or Plumbing experience
- 1 year of experience working in facilities maintenance capacity
- Basic working knowledge of PLCs and related systems (preferred)
- Ability to stand for 8-12 hours per day
- Required to walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to lift and carry at least 25 pounds
- Ability to perform all duties in a working environment that may contain dust, high noise levels, hot and cold weather
Responsibilities
- Proficient at brazing/soldering plumbing and refrigerant pipes/lines
- Maintenance of AHU's, direct gas fired AHU's, condensing boilers, pumps, exhaust fans, package roof top units and motors of varying sizes
- Navigate and manipulate a Building Automation System (BAS)/Building Management System (BMS)
- Work with hazardous voltages up to and including 480 volts
- Knowledge of general building maintenance activities
- Conduct commercial garage door maintenance (General Maintenance Tech.)
- Other duties as assigned
