Requirements
  • Strong enterprise resource planning experience in the Finance and Operations domain, including hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and at least one other enterprise resource planning system.
  • Experience managing finance and operational stakeholders in a multi-entity environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a lean, high-performing team.
  • Ability to influence without formal authority.
  • Pragmatic and commercially aware approach grounded in operational reality.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical finance and operational topics to business stakeholders.
  • Ability to build rapport across Halma and Operating Company technology and business teams.
Responsibilities
  • Support the objectives of the Enterprise Solutions team as part of the Enterprise Architecture function, reporting to the Domain Architect.
  • Support diagnostic and advisory engagements across Halma Operating Companies, focusing on Finance and Operations.
  • Help Operating Companies assess finance and operational processes, identify material pain points, and shape sequenced solution decisions aligned to Group direction while respecting local autonomy.
  • Support multiple Operating Companies and initiatives concurrently while working with architects, delivery partners, and Operating Company leadership teams.
  • Act as a functional subject-matter expert for enterprise resource planning Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
  • Ground recommendations in actual Microsoft Dynamics 365 capability and configuration options.
  • Apply functional knowledge across supply chain; production; general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash and bank management; budgeting and forecasting; fixed assets; and inventory and warehousing.
  • Recommend priorities for standardisation, optimisation, and deferral, alongside timelines, for the group and Operating Companies.
  • Work with Enterprise and Solution Architects to ensure Finance and Operations recommendations are coherent and integrated.
  • Engage with delivery partners to provide structure and clarity in intent, scope, and success criteria.
  • Support or lead Finance and Operations streams of engagements with Operating Companies.
  • Connect operational processes to financial outcomes and avoid siloed, system-led discussions.
  • Identify and articulate key pain points, constraints, risks, and trade-offs across business processes, data, controls, and systems.
  • Support recommendations for solution options, prioritisation logic, and a high-level roadmap.
