As part of our Sales team, in a highly strategic Business Development role, you will be responsible for leading and running the entire sales cycle as a Business Development Director for the San Francisco Bay Area market, working with clients primarily in San Francisco, South San Francisco, and the Peninsula. Expectations:
- Drive new and incremental revenue by prospecting, acquiring, and developing new and fast-growing business.
- Build a pipeline for growth and closing business, including statements of work and contracts.
- Interact with new clients, gain referrals and form strong relationships that open doors and close deals.
- Maintain an extensive knowledge of current market conditions, contending offerings and current penetration of services and solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain access to key business decision makers and generate C-level contacts by networking across the marketplace.
- Understand the needs of your partners and marshal the right resources with direct authority.
- Apply and demonstrate the Unify Sales Process, solution selling, and account management practices.
- Use detailed, comprehensive industry knowledge and experience to develop and support project strategies, and to advise and support team members and project partners.
- Model, establish, and infuse inclusive and equitable mindsets, behaviors, practices, policies, culture, and operations into every aspect of our business, partnerships, and greater ecosystem.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in a similar role as a strategic business development leader with a hunter mentality and sophisticated closure capabilities.
- Management consultancy or professional services experience is preferred.
- Strong existing network in and understanding of the Silicon Valley ecosystem, including key players, market trends, and emerging technologies.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers at all levels.
- Able to act as a trusted advisor in addressing our customers’ business needs; demonstrated ability to build trust across diverse stakeholders.
