Position Summary...
What you’ll do...
Our Design Intern partners will shadow Design leadership to gain a stronger understanding of the seasonal design development process, from concept to delivery. Interns will learn by doing and in an internship, interns will do just that in temporary positions that introduce a broader range of jobs and settings. They will gain a better understanding of pulling trends, market research, raw materials, how to sketch and create a tech/spec pack and develop strong presentation skills on clear commercial point of views.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with researching and identifying trend directions; creation of digital concept/mood boards, analyze collections, shop stores; perform competitive analysis; pull and review fabrics, design concepts, digital presentation boards for meetings.
- Identify key items with a strong brand identity.
- Gain an understanding of development of initial seasonal design category in context of larger assortment and cost structure.
- Select original artwork and curate seasonal print stories.
During the 11-week internship, participants will:
- Gain an understanding of the vision, mission, and strategic objectives of our business.
- Become aware of customer needs and participate in discussions to identify gaps in assortment.
- Participate in key milestones and deliverables related to their assigned internship project.
- Take initiative, remain bold in their ideas, and actively participate in all discussions.
- Conduct internal and external research/benchmarking as appropriate.
- Partner with other associates across teams/functions to identify solutions and present recommendations.
- Build their network of professionals across the enterprise and receive direct exposure to several leaders.
- Receive support and guidance from a host of individuals including mentors and a dedicated Program Manager.
- Design interns will complete a project presentation to Executive leadership to showcase their learnings and skills in the final weeks of the internship program.
Operations & Results
- Partner with technical design to learn and understand proper fit and end use
- Work with cad design to assist in development of original prints
- Assist with design/developing according to line plans, sales need, and emerging trends; ensure timely execution of product development calendar
- Create Illustrator sketches
- Review & color 3D bodies; participate in 3D Influencer meetings
Relationships
- Daily Communication with internal and external partners, including technical design, product development, merchandising cad design and suppliers
- Build collaborative relationships with vendors and cross functional partners
Preferred Skills
- Proficient in Adobe AI & PS; Windows PowerPoint
- Browzwear Lotta and/or V-Stitcher experience preferred
- Experience with Illustrator sketching
- Experience creating tech-packs, trend decks & line sheets
- Familiar with the Mass Market customer; Plus customer a bonus
- Resourceful, able to follow direction, can work autonomously
- Team player; strong communication skills; organized
- Able to work in fast-paced environment and can change task focus as needed
Office Environment: Corporate, in-person internship
All internships are paid, with housing and relocation benefits provided to eligible participants.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in Bachelor’s degree program currently
- Expected graduation date between December 2025-August 2026
- 0-1 years of full-time relevant experience (excludes internship and research-based roles)

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00-$42.00*
*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
